Happy St. Patrick's Day
Huge holiday in the USA and everyone is IRISH on March 17th (tomorrow).Some of the customs. You must wear something Green. If you do not then you will get pinched. Sooooooooooooo if your a pretty Lassie and your not "wearing the Green" then expect to get pinched. It is a custom (not a sexual advance). Now I don't know if this is true in Ireland but it certainly is in the USA.
You must drink Green Beer, they put food coloring in the beer. Of course the best beer is that which is on tap (draft beer - not bottled beer).
Where is the largest St. Patrick's Day parade held in the USA?
The biggest St. Paddy's Day celebration is in New York. With a grand parade and a green Empire State Building, the parade features more than 150,000 marchers. More than 100 U.S. cities host parades. The first American St. Patrick's Day parade took place in Boston in 1737.
